Our Explorers curriculum focuses on the meaningful experiences of children and learning through all domains (cognitive, social-emotional, communication, physical, and adaptive) using developmentally appropriate practice, whole-child and child-focused philosophy, and positive guidance techniques. Our curriculum is intentionally diverse and inclusive so that all children can see themselves as well as learn about others in all that we do. Our days are structured to include whole-group activities, small group centers, and one-on-one instruction revolving around that week’s theme along with tasks and activities designed to support children in meeting developmental milestones. Additionally, we facilitate windows of time several times a day for child-led, active play because playing is how kids learn best!

enrollment options

Our families have several options when enrolling in Explorers Academy Preschool as you can see outlined in the tuition table. There are 3 decisions to make when enrolling your child:

Annual Enrollment
- Year-Round (Aug thru Jul)
- Traditional Academic (Aug thru May)
- Summer Term (Jun & Jul)
Weekly Attendance
- Full-Time (Mon-Fri)
- Part-Time: 3 Days (Mon/Wed/Fri)
- Part-Time: 2 Days (Tue/Thu)
Daily Dismissal Time
- Half-Day (12:00pm pick-up)
- Full Day (3:30pm pick-up)
- Extended Day (5:30pm pick-up)

Costs & Payments

Upon acceptance to the preschool, you must pay the Materials Fee (and sign the Enrollment Contract) in order to secure your child’s spot in our program. On May 1st (or upon acceptance if past this date), your 10% tuition deposit will be due. On August 1st, payment of the remaining tuition is due - either in full (with a 5% discount) or by agreeing to a Flex-Pay plan that divides the tuition equally across the months of attendance. If beginning after August, tuition will be prorated according to the start date.

All meals and snacks are provided and included in tuition prices. Our healthy and nutritious meals and snacks can be prepared upon request to be free of common allergens including dairy, sesame, and gluten. We can also accommodate vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements. The menu is designed using a whole-foods approach to meal-planning. Included on this page is a sample menu.
